Founder, Orion Automotive Finishes

Forty-five years in automotive coatings teaches you things a textbook cannot. Leslie Fried spent her career at the center of the industry, building color expertise that placed her at the table with some of the most established coating companies in North America.

When the opportunity arose to support second-tier manufacturers entering the market, she built her own outsource facility from the ground up. A decade of independent consulting followed: new business development, project management, clients who needed someone who had seen every corner of the trade.

Early retirement was brief. The dream she had carried for years was still there, take everything she had learned, build the right team, and launch a paint company on her own terms. That became Orion Automotive Finishes.

Outside the shop, Leslie shows, breeds, and trains Rottweilers and Miniature Wirehaired Dachshunds, travels internationally, and spends time working with horses at the racetrack. She brings the same attention she gives her hobby and her craft to every color Orion produces.
